Lanceleaf Coreopsis

Categories:

Lanceleaf coreopsis is a common species of dry prairies, glades, savannas, and roadsides. Able to withstand droughty conditions, this species is a great addition to any planting. Lanceleaf coreopsis is a pioneer species that will provide blooms in the first few years of a new planting. Over time this species will decrease as other wildflowers become dominant. After periods of disturbance this flower will likely return to the stand. Consider mass plantings of this and short grasses for low maintenance areas in waste areas and right of ways.
