Plains Coreopsis

Categories:

Plains coreopsis is an annual coreopsis species found in prairies and disturbed areas. Plants are useful in wildflower plantings to add first year blooms that are visited by pollinators. This species will decrease over time as other forbs become established. In the event of a severe disturbance event plains coreopsis will often return to the stand.
