Funding Assitance

The resources below may be of assistance if you are looking for potential funding. Unfortunately not every project is funded or falls into a funding category.

If you reside in Missouri, reach out to your counties Private Land Conservationist (PLC) to discuss the project with them. If you live outside of Missouri, check with your state’s conservation department to see if they offer any cost share opportunities. Click here to learn more.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) a division of USDA has a wide range of programs. Contact your local NRCS office to learn more.

Soil and Water District’s are state tax funded conservation programs to improve agricultural pratices and productivity. The link is for Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD). If you live outside of Missouri, check with your local SWCD.Click here to learn more.

The mission of the Missouri Prairie Foundation (MPF) is to protect and restore prairie and other native grassland communities through land acquisition, management, education, and research; to promote the use of native plants through its  Grow Native! program; and to support the control of invasive plants through its administration of the Missouri Invasive Plant Council.
