Wildflowers & Forbs

Forbs make up the most recognizable species of native grasslands and associated ecosystems. In addition to providing beauty in plantings, their main purpose is to support pollinators, grassland birds and other small wildlife. Forbs make a valuable addition to grazing systems because many are consumed by livestock and offer high nutritive value during the growing season.
